Hi everybody! We still don't have our computer fixed so we are at the internet place. We are going to get a new one when we can get to Bacolod with time to spend to get one. We are back to sweating all the time again.It hasn't rained for several days. We will be meeting Elder Edwards on thursday. He is the Philippines Area President. He will be doing our Zone conference. We are really excited to be so involved with a general authority. We have had some down time the past few weeks. One night the dogs in the neighbor hood started to have a choir and Elder Adams decided to join them, so he started to howl in harmony with the dogs. The more he howled the louder the dogs got. Well I didn't want to miss out on the fun , so I started to howl. It was so funny listening to the dogs and us. We had to stop because we where laughing so hard.ONLY IN THE PHILIPPINES COULD YOU GET AWAY WITH THIS! One day on the way to one of our areas we seen two girls sitting on a cement bridge playing chinese checkers. They had scratched a playing board in the cement and was using rocks as marbles. They were having a good time. I could tell by the smiles on their faces.George P is down to 5 cigarettes a day from 10. Thank you for your prayers! We went to their house last monday for FHE. We had a lesson and then played Phase 10 dice game. This is the second time we played it with them. They really like the game a lot. I told George I would give him a game when he quits smoking.We had a big training session with the District Presidencies at the mission home last saturday. President Tobias is really changing the return and report program. He will be having a monthly meeting with the presidents. He gave them assignments to have completed for Sept's meeting. Pres Daquioag didn't do anything like this. It is really going to help the branches a lot to run properly. Elder Adams and the other senior Elders will be helping the branches reach the goals. The Philippines will be having their 50th anniversary in 2011 so the area presidency has set goals to be reached by then. Thanks for all the emails and letters!!!!!!! We really miss everyone so much! You are in our prayers! We know the church is true and Heavenly Father has plan for each of us so it is important to communicate with Him everyday to make sure we are on the same plan! The dust, fumes and bumps!
